What is the latest discovery in your ocean science research?
COSEE Florida is inviting scientists of all career stages to participate in the new Water as Habitat Video Series that brings ocean research to virtual audiences. Your latest research will be featured in one of the Water as Habitat's 15 episodes and displayed on COSEE Florida's website and social media.
Would you like assistance producing a short 2-3 minute creative video that captures your ocean literacy research?
It gets better because you don't have to do this alone! Your episode will be produced in collaboration with COSEE Florida's Digital Media Specialist at no cost to you! The dynamic partnership will include learning the production skills necessary to bring your ocean research to life through an engaging video. Some of the many benefits include a 1-day on-location filming, the development of a creative storyboard to frame your research, review of your video before it's featured on COSEE Florida's website and social media, while learning how to capture your research effectively through video.
This is a fantastic opportunity for scientists to create a defining video using your ocean research, while connecting its impact to an increasing virtual audience through COSEE Florida's Water as Habitat Video Series.

The 3-day workshop will introduce participants to the power of video as a communication tool and will provide hands-on training in producing videos that engage, motivate, and inspire audiences. Participants will be guided by expert instructors through all aspects of video planning and production. Topics will include basic and advanced storytelling techniques, storyboarding, camera work, audio recording, and post-production compression and distribution.
