Educator Workshop

In partnership with ocean scientists and their research institutions across the state, COSEE Florida hosts a variety of educator workshops. These workshops connect current research to Sunshine State Science Standards with hands-on activities that are designed to be easily and cheaply replicated in middle and high school science classrooms and are available as resources.

  • Ocean Science Concept

Recordings (OSCRs)

Ocean Science Concept Recordings (OSCRs) are intended as resources for teachers that will encourage them to bring ocean science into their classrooms. COSEE Florida’s first OSCR on tides explains a difficult concept – one that many college students misunderstand – at a level that middle school students can comprehend.
